I decided it would be fun this week to combine our Tuesday Doozy of a Snoozy with Tuesday Haikusday. I am a master of the snoozy at my advanced age of 17. However, I am a novice when it comes to haiku. This is only the third haiku to appear on our blog. So please don’t judge me too harshly.
I’m queen of the snooze
White furs shining in the sun
You may kiss my toes
Special Announcement Update
If you joined us early on Sunday, you will have read that we have a huge surprise to share with you. We had planned to share on Thursday, but after realizing that Thursday is Cinco de Meow, we have moved our announcement to next Sunday’s Selfie post. Though Sunday is also a special day (Mother’s Day), we’ve decided to stick with that plan. Be forewarned: This is not something you want to miss. So even if you don’t join our blog hop, you’ll want to drop by.
My blog hog bum of a brofur, Mauricio, will be here tomorrow for Wordless Wednesday. You’ll definitely want to check out his recent antics.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia

Lily Olivia, you sure do that Easy so well. And your haiku is a really good one. Looking forward to the big announcement.
Great haiku! How are we gonna make it to Sunday waiting for your announcement?
You’re raising the “anticipation” stakes by moving your announcement. Can’t wait to stop by and read all about it! 🙂
I will definitely kiss your toesies. I can’t believe you are making us wait until Sunday for your news.
Well, you are doing good. I appreciate the traditional pattern of syllables. I am more inclined to this way, as it is the ancient Asian format. Cute post today (as usual). Hugs.
Purrfect haiku!! Purrfect tosies!! xoxox
Lily Olivia you look SO comfy with your toesies stretched out and that big smile on your face – what are you dreaming about??? Maybe it’s private!! Love your haiku – you did a wonderful job with it. I quite like haiku – my Mom used to write quite a bit of it in her writing days. Nowadays she’s busy taking care of ME ME ME and not writing. We can’t wait to hear what your surprise is…..we love surprises!
Hugs, Sammy
Pawsome haiku!
I think you did awesomely, Lily Olivia!
lovely to see you writing haiku. Don’t get trapped by that old 5-7-5 syllable thing. English haiku are usually shorter. I’d kiss your toesies any time… 🙂
Your haiku is beautiful – as are your toesies!
