Sparks
Lately, I have felt as if someone doused my fire and spirit. Thanks to my friends I am able to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie has been taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. Unfortunately, during this break, Annie has been the victim of a hacker. This has continued to keep her off-line and caused her much distress. Please continue to send prayers to Annie and her family as they work to get their lives back to normal.
Many of us believe in Annie’s vision: “If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

I LOVE that mosaic. I hope you know that if you need anything – even just to talk – I’m here. I care about you and the Kitties Blue and I know how easily it is to be disheartened and emotionally drained with a sick kitty.

This is an excellent post! I had allowed a piece of my fire to dim, because I was uncertain. But, while having a manicure, I struck up a conversation, and I realized that I was defeating myself! I gave myself a talking too, and moved forward on that project the next day!

Yes, we do get times when we are down and everything gets on top of you and it is an effort to carry on, but as you say, there are friends who give encouragement and things do seem more manageable.
We all fight through periods in our lives when we just feel BLAH. We’re tired, worn out, discouraged – but one thing remains the same – we get through it and on the other side we are able to see that we had support and love all along….we were just too distracted to feel it. You all have had a lot on your collective “plate” with the renovation and Sawyer – it’s very draining – we all have to reach down DEEPER sometimes to find our “happy” again. But it’s THERE. Sending you hugs…. that artwork is stunning and very sweet! FRIENDS = comfort.
