Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #41 *
1. Snow has been scarce this winter! Yippee, hooray!
2. My favorite kind of soup is the one the kitties’ dad makes. (It has beans, lentils, cabbage, carrots, onions, celery and either chicken or sausage. I prefer the chicken.)
3. When no one is around, I can watch as many renovation and baking shows as I want on TV.
4. Astrid is my current heart cat. She’s a snuggler with a huge purr. And she loves to make biscuits in my lap. All my pant legs are full of snags.
This photo was going to be our next Sunday Selfie, but I am using it today instead. Astrid snapped it yesterday when she was curled on my lap with her chin resting on the kitchen island counter. It seemed appropriate for this post.
On Sunday, along with our Sunday Selfies blog hop, we will be participating in another hop to welcome Angel Sammy’s new brother, Teddy Kimmell (onespoiledcat), to the blogosphere.
As Cooper Murphy is the our new ginger tabby kid, he will be doing the Sunday Selfie to honor the newest ginger tabby and his pal, Teddy! We’ll provide the info for Teddy’s hop on our Sunday post, or you can find it here now.
Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted by Annie from McGuffy’s Reader and Ellen from 15AndMeowing. This is a blog hop. You can enter the hop on Annie’s blog by clicking on the badge at the top of this post.
* My completions of the Fill-Ins are in teal italics.
A busy day and Astrid needed a bit of a rest, MOL!! Minko is the biscuit maker here, though Pipo helps out sometimes:)
A happy snuggler is always a wonderful thing! We’ll be dual hopping tomorrow too!
Oh, we LOVE Astrid’s picture. She’s so, so adorable! 🙂
We’ve been pretty light on snow, too. We had about 13 inches last Thursday and about 5 on Saturday, but it will all melt away this weekend, since temps are supposed to be in the 50s and 60s. 🙂
Astrid looks like she has been working and needs a rest and she knows a lap is the best place for that. Soup sounds deliciously hearty.
Your fill-in on number 1 is because we got your snow. MOL
Astrid you look like you’ve done a day and a half of hard labour by your expression. You deserve a good rest my friend.
Shoko
Yeah, fankfully we’ve not had much snow either. We’re enjoyin’ this warmer winter. Altho’ mommy says it’s pawful as fur as da bugs are concerned. MOL Big hugs
Luv ya’
Dezi and Raena
I did not see you on the list, but I subscribe, so here I am! Oh, I am so excited about Teddy! They always send us someone who needs us and that we need, too. I will try to get back Sunday. It is always such a chaotic day, depending upon when Bill hits the road, again. He won’t be home until very late tonight (midnight or so!).
The soup sounds wonderful. We have had little snow, and it makes me think Summer will be way too HOT! Not good for breathing. You know who my heart-cat is. My BabyCat (aka Chloe Jo). She is always going to be my baby; and she knows that.George has passed her in maturity, though he is a very creative thinker! Bill was right, we needed a boy cat. He is a dude! Astrid is such a pretty girl! HUGS, my sister friend.
Aw, Astrid, you keep on making those biscuits for your mom. 🙂
We love our fill-ins ! What a lovely portrait, Astrid ! Purrs
Astrid is quite the sweetheart. Of course, there was that Diet Coke incident with the computer … but like an exquisite tortie, she knows how to love as well as she causes trouble 🙂
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That soups sounds good. I know what you mean about watching shows when no one is around- does your hubby complain about them too? Astrid is a sweetie and so beautiful, I love the photo. Have a nice weekend. XO

What a wonderfully beautiful kitty Astrid is. Purrs to all
Purrfect answers, as always! Your #3 sounds like such fun. I also enjoy some alone time to binge watch shows such as that. Astrid is beyond adorable, and what a sweet relationship you two have. Angel Rosie was my first heart cat, there’s no doubt in my mind about that. Although I love all of my furbabies more than anything, I often feel like Thimble is my current heart cat. She is the sweetest little thing and she can melt my heart simply by walking in the room. My sister often chastises me for letting Thimble get away with things that none of the other furbabies are allowed to do. Woops. Well, purrs and happy Friday to all of you!
Astrid, that is such a good selfie of you. We like that picture. You all have a fantastic day.
Astrid’s selfie is ADORABLES! I also love your fill-ins….my Mom says ANYTHING homemade is delish but somehow soup is one of the best things. Thanks for mentioning the Welcome Hop for my baby bro Teddy. We will be hopping with YOU and keeping up with whoever visits for HIM on Sunday! BIZZZEEEE BEEEEES!
Love and Hugs, Angel Sammy
