Sunday Selfies: Week #159
We have a guest host today for our blog hop. This guy/girl showed up to scavenger the sunflower seeds under the bird feeder. We were threatened with a big stink if we didn’t post this selfie.
We told Mom that this selfie did not require a pretty frame, as it would be stinky no matter how she tried to fancy it up. She unfortunately insisted. PFFFT!
One plus for us, however…no kitty was disturbed or awakened from a nap with the demand for a selfie.
That’s it for today. Mom’s working on an elaborate post for tomorrow’s Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day and said we had to keep this short.
By now most of you know how this blog hop works, but if not, here are some guidelines:
- The link to add your selfie to the hop is below.
- You also will find below the code to use if you’d like the hop to appear on your blog.
- You do not need to post on Sundays to join.
- The hop remains open for entries through Thursday midnight.
- Please be so kind as to display our badge and/or link to The Cat on My Head.
We look forward to seeing all you loyal selfie supporters hopping. And please, invite your friends to join us. We always enjoy meeting new anipals.

Wow that is a cute stinky nonetheless mol. I didn’t know they eat sunflowers seeds. We will keep an eye out for them!
Wow! Stinky Selfie is right! Pee-Yew!!! MOL! That rascal has cousins around here, too, but none has been brave enough to come to scavenge any of our seeds.
Our Auntie sees more of them in her yard, and her garbage cans. MOL!
I did meet one one with dog-guy but he/she scuttled away while we waited…
Glad no stink happened:)
Cute little critters but, boy, can they cause a stink! 😆
We don’t have skunks here, but after reading many comments we know that they are cute from far far away only. Purrs
Very nice, even if it is a bit stinky!

We hope Miss Skunk was far away from your sweet noses! Thank you for hosting again this week. We always look forward to joining in every week.
Mom said once she was in the kitchen way early one morning and it sounded like birds chirping softly outside & very close. Long story short it was a mom skunk and her babies. She let loose under the house and that was as close to…right there with…move out time that I have ever been. It was horrible for a long time.
My Mommy and Cinnamon (who is not such a horrible beast) saw one of those this morning! Cinnamon gave a low growl and turned around to go back the way they came…then Mommy saw it! How serendipitous that your guest was one too.
Cinnamon got “got” last summer and she still remembers the
horrible stink!
But it is kind of cute…

Marvelous
That’s a cute little black and white kitty. My neighbor just called for the second time this week to have one taken out from under her deck. Pewie.

Yikes! How did she get so close to a skunk? I can’t believe I thought Emmy was a skunk, her furs are so pretty compared to the skunk. XO
That is such a cool guest, at least as long as he is happy!
You guys wanna stay clear of that guy!
Whew, what a selfie! Despite how your visitor might smell, we have to say that it is pretty darn cute.
We haven’t seen of those around here, thank goodness!
What a cute, stinky little visitor!
“Stink kitties” are so cute, and nothing tops a momma skunk with her little ones trailing behind her! I think the fancy border is a nice – and appropriate – for this sweet creature.
That is one odoriferous customer to your feeder. Looks like a young stripy so hope he remembers and keeps the spray away… MOL

Mommy says we are lucky we have never been skunked.
P.U.! A stinky friend visited you huh? Good thing none of you were CLOSE by or else you’d have been dunked in the sink to get rid of the – well – STINK! Tee Hee We’ve seen skunks and raccoons by our bird feeders too munching the seeds. I suppose it’s nice to share…….you just have to be careful. Have a fun but CAREFUL Sunday!
Love, Teddy
Thank goodness it’s only a picture without Smell-O-Vision, else this could be a very short weekend. Still does look quite cute but definitely NOT a TUX relative MOL

Yeah, when those guys talk you do what they say!
OMC there’s something smelly going on at your place, KittiesBlue…but very cute he is 😀 Pawkisses for a Happy Day 🙂 <3
Well the Skunk is a cute fella,so hopefully no bunny got Sprayed,xx Speedy
We don’t have skunks here so I can’t imagine what they re like but I guess from US comments it’s ‘not good’.
Last Spring (2016), we had a Mama Skunk and two babies. They came to feed under the bird feeders every night. Gradually, the mother and one baby went away. But, one kept coming here. We saw it grow up. And, Stella became its friend. It would be in the back yard when she was. I held my breath, literally. Sometimes, she would come in with watery eyes, and even be sneezing. But, it never sprayed her.
Great host for the selfies. If the selfies stink, there is a reason. hehe
Loves,
Shoko and Kali
Wow, that may be a stinky selfie, but it’s pretty darned good. How nice of that skunk to volunteer for this week’s selfie (so that none of you Kitties Blue had to). 🙂
Thank you for being such great pals. We love you, and always enjoy hopping along with you.
Hugs!
Stinky, but cute! She looks so small! We’ve put a lot of work into tomorrow’s post too. I can’t wait to see what you have planned.
