Sparks: Week #19

Yesterday was the beginning of Random Acts of Kindness Week. It seemed appropriate to use that as the basis for our Spark this week.

Sparks of Kindness with Mau and C.J.

Mauricio can be a pain in the @$$, but he really is a good guy. He will put up with just about anything from his fursibs. Here, he lets Calista Jo use him for a pillow. As she is considerably bigger than he is, this is totally an act of kindness.

If you are unfamiliar with the author of today’s quote, here’s a little information.

Scott Adams is the creator of the Dilbert comic strip. He worked in various roles in big business before he became a full-time cartoonist in 1995. He writes in a satirical, often sarcastic, way about the social and mental landscape of white-collar workers in modern business corporations.  Adams is the author of several nonfiction works of satire, commentary and business.

I am joining Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) for her Sparks blog hop. In establishing the hop, she wrote this, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!” This is what makes Sparks so special and why I look forward to participating each week.

A wonderful quote that for sure needs to be way more practiced by all.

What sweet kitties and the quote is such a good one. Kindness doesn’t cost a thing.

Thanks to you, Calista jo and sweet Mau for this week’s Sparks. I re-entered your link information. There were a couple of errors. But, don ‘t feel bad. 1 I neglected to put myself and Ellen on it! LOL. So, we are human.
(I always need to type really slow here. Why is that?)

Aww. Mau’s sweet. We agree. Sometimes, even just looking someone in the eye is enough to elicit a smile. And it costs us so little to be kind! But the impact truly does ripple far from our tiny ponds! Happy Valentine’s Day!

I love your furkids, and I love this quote! Kindness is in such short supply in our world, and it takes so little effort to be kind! If we brighten someone’s day with our words or actions, we can be sure that will affect how they treat the next person they encounter and also how they feel about themselves. I love random acts of kindness, they make both the giver and the receiver feel great!

My human says the best kindness she can do right now is to make herself rest up and try not to force her body to work when it needs to heal. That is actually a bit difficult for her!

A great quote and a fun picture of Mau and Calista. Togetherness is always interesting to watch. This behaviour usually ends up in a pushing match around here.

Mauricio is such a sweety and he looks so cozy with Calista Jo (in spite of the size difference)! Love the quote. Oh, how many times has Dilbert hit my previous workplaces smack on the head! I hope to be back to blogging later this week. Have a wonderful week! 😀 <3

I love Scott Adams. I have laughed till tears rolled down my face. I have many of his cartoon books as well. He sure nails it.

Mauricio, you are a wonderful big brother to your siblings. I cannot see you as a pain though. Just as a handsome mancat. XX

Teddy February 12, 2018 at 6:22 am

Oh Mauricio I think you are such a good BIG BROTHER to the others in the Blue household……Calista Jo looks VERY comfy perched on you – I’m sure you are a very soft and warm pillow to ALL ! The quote for SPARKS is ever so true……kindness knows no limits and is not random – it’s a CHOICE everyone makes…..that can lead to infinite possibilities!

Happy Monday……
Love, Teddy
