Sparks: Week #7
Another photo from Dad Tom today for our Sparks post. It was taken at Coyote Creek Country Club in Morgan Hill, California. That is where my recent 50th high school reunion was held. These were just a few of the geese that were in the water and on the golf course.
I am sorry the quote is a bit hard to read with the busy background.
Anne Frank was wise beyond her years, and I can only imagine how much she missed being outside after going into hiding.
Sparks is a weekly blog hop established and hosted by Annie at McGuffy’s Reader. In establishing the hop, she wrote this, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”

Beautiful photo! And what a great Spark to go with it. Nature has such an amazing way of healing our souls. It’s a very poignant quote coming from Anne Frank and all she had to give up in the attempt to survive the horrors of the war. It really drives home the point of being thankful and grateful this week.
Mom Paula says she needs to get outside a little more. We hate it when it gets dark so early.
We should always be able to relate to nature. And, when we need to be rejuvenated, we should take that time to reconnect with nature. Then, we can better connect with the rest of the world and each other. Good Sparks! Beautiful images and sentiment. I am happy that you are part of Sparks. HUGS!
P.S. Your link was broken, so I fixed it! XO
That’s a great pic…and a lovely quote.
that is such a beautiful quote-thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photo and lovely quote! We like open windows to get our nature fix!
Petcretary loves scenes like that too. They bring the world in her head to a more relaxed and serene state. In other words: Peaceful.
Great quote and lovely photo. Just so you know, there is an issue with your link on McGuffy’s Reader. Have a blessed day!
I do this often. I love the quote and how awful it must have been to be hiding instead of outside.
Have a fabulous day. ☺
This is such a beautiful sentiment. I have always admired Anne Frank. She experienced and accomplished so much in her tragically short life. And, as always, the photograph is gorgeous.
What a wonderful quote to go with a drop dead gorgeous picture! We LOVE your Spark!
Thank you for sharing!

That is a really wonderful quote!
Great photo and Spark. I agree, Anne Frank was wise beyond her years.
What a beauty of a picture and perfect sentiment to go with it. Illustrates the quite beautifully.
We love the waterfowl p picture you did. Our human is a great fan of all birds who swim AND fly. We will check out the Sparks blog!
Another gem of a photo from Tom and you paired a lovely quote with it as always – Anne Frank TRULY was and still is an inspiration – hard to imagine her finding comfort in those frightening days of hiding longing for quiet moments OUTSIDE in nature where God was everywhere but she did find it – in her heart.
Hugs and Happy Monday!
Pam
That is a lovely peaceful photo. The quote is very poignant given her circumstances.
