Sparks
I was searching for a quote to use tomorrow in conjunction with 9/11 when I found this one, which really spoke to me. I know many friends have lost beloved pets recently, and with Remember Me Thursday coming up in a couple of weeks, I’d like to encourage all of those in this situation to open their hearts and rescue an orphan anipal to love and share their life.

Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie is taking a “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. However, many of us continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we believe in Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Awww Mondays
In order to participate in the blog hop at Comedy Plus, I have included a photo of Cooper Murphy from a recent hot day. Kitties Blue had no interest in being on the catio in the heat and humidity. Now we have eight days of rain forecasted, which won’t make the catio any more popular. Guess, I can expect more scenes like the one below.

Great Spark! Cooper Murphy is so adorable!!
The Florida Furkids with tons of smoochies and love to Mau from Allie
There is a bunch of us on the back of our boat. I had to tell everyone about Murphy Cooper and the socks. They all said aww.
What a wonderful Spark.
Have a purrfect Awww Monday, Cooper Murphy. My best to the rest of the kitties and your peeps. ♥
Cooper must be tired out from the Scout’s party yesterday. Great spark! XO
“We are built to love.” is such a good mantra. Mom is going to keep that close to her heart as words to live by.
When mom was 16, her brother told her: “Man is born to work.” She has never forgotten that as well.
Well, yippee for cooler weather, at least. Great quote this week!
The weather is very cruddy here, too. We love your spark, and thanks for mentioning Remember Me Thursday!
What a lovely quote. And, Cooper, you look so cute and comfy! Yeah, our kitties tend to come inside when there is a storm. Light rains don’t seem to bother most of them.
We’ve been having rain and cool weather lately. It’s great for snoozing.
That was a goodie and so are you Cooper Murphy!
That is a great quote and a cute photo of Cooper Murphy. When we had the catio, our cats would be out there in the middle of a thunderstorm. They didn’t care.
That’s a wonderful quote. Our hearts still skip a beat or two every year as 9/11 approaches….memories return….and always will. But our “take away” from that and many things since that has been to carry on – move through difficulty and follow the light beyond. It’s there for all of us if we WANT to see it. The photo of Cooper enjoying that scratcher bed is so cute! I have to wonder whether Teddy could fit in there as perfectly as Coop does 🙂 !!
Hugs, Pam
It sounds like the weather is not very kitty friendly at your house right now!
