Sparks: Week #31
I did not receive unconditional love from my parents, either as a child or an adult, so today it is something very important to me. I was fortunate, however, to receive that love from my paternal grandparents. Not all the Kitties Blue love, or even get along, with each other. But Mau always has shown Astrid and several other of his housemates that he cares for them.
I have used a quote from this author for a previous Sparks’ post. If you are unfamiliar with Brian Tracy, you can find out more about him in the post, “A Spark of Gratitude from Sawyer.”
Astrid, Mau and I are joining Annie at McGufffy’s Reader for her Sparks blog hop. In establishing the hop, Annie wrote, “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
This is what makes Sparks so special and why I look forward to participating each week.
If you’d like to join the hop, click on the Sparks badge.
We are also joining the Awww Mondays blog hop at Comedy Plus.
We once invited over a few neighbors for dinner and the conversation led to bad mothers. Everyone at the table had mother horror stories to tell, except me. I felt very blessed to have nothing to contribute to the conversation.
That is a wonderful Spark and an ever so sweet photo!
What a beautiful Spark. And Mau…you just keep showing the love.
Beautiful spark. Purrs
Beautiful picture, beautiful Spark ! Thank you.
I love your spark and the sweet photo with it. XO
Sounds like you had a difficult childhood too. I’m sorry about that.
I love your quote. Looks like many of us have talked about love today as our Sparks.
Have a purrfect Awww Monday and a week filled with wonderful Sparks. ♥
Our Mom says she was blessed to know with absolute certainty that she had unconditional love from her parents, there’s been a lot of struggle beyond that, but at least her roots are well planted. On the feline side there has always been a lack of unconditional feelings between different cats. Abby was the fierce one with an indomitable personality she hated all cats, but loved Mom after Mom proved her loyalty to the Royal one. But it was a true heartfelt bond. Annabelle loves everyone. She is a special little manx. Boo, Ping & Jinx only tolerate each other even after all these years.
Furry souls sure seem to be the best at showing unconditional love. Mau, seeing you be so sweet to your fursibs always makes us smile. Purrs to you all!
Very nice Sparks post! Allie was THRILLED to see her sweet husband AND so proud of him for being such a good pal to his brofurs and sisfurs!
The Florida Furkids with tons of Smoochies and love to Mau from Allie
Love one another! Beautiful! 😀 <3
YES……love makes the world go round……this is a great Spark message and one we truly believe in. Just ask Mau – he knows!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
That is so true, and just imagine if everyone played life by that rule.
I am glad we are all pals here!
