Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #96
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted each Friday by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). It gives each of us the opportunity to get to know our fellow bloggers a bit better. Each Thursday, they both post the sentences to be completed. To participate, fill-in the blanks in each sentence and then link up on Annie’s blog. To hop over there, click on the Fill-Ins badge.
I got a little help with the first two fill-ins this week. The generic quality of them made it easy to turn their completion over to a couple of Kitties Blue. Here are our completions for this week. They are in teal italics.
COOPER MURPHY 1.Before you go to sleep you need to stake your claim to a good spot on the humans’ bed. An east/west position is always preferable, as Mau and Calista Jo are demonstrating. Sawyer and I have completely taken over Mom’s spot.
SAWYER: 2. After zooming or watching birdies and squirrels from the catio, I like to take a nap on the top perch of the cat tree or mom’s feet.
3. Winter sucks, except for male cardinals, which look gorgeous against the backdrop of fresh, bright-white snow.
4. Spring is not my favorite season, but after a long winter, it certainly is welcome. These are crocuses from our yard in 2016. It’s too darn cold to go outside and take photos of this year’s spring flowers, which have snow on them.
I love the pictures. You would love Bee; she loves to cuddle like nobody’s business. I should email you, but am having a little trouble with things. I am working on writing, though. Love you.
While is is not very warm here either, at least there is no snow…for now! Cardinals truly are beautiful.
I bet those spring flowers in the snow are very pretty. My one guest cat has stopped coming up on the bed to sleep because he knows how restless I am. He does stay close by my head though and has nested safely behind the headboard for some serious nighttime snoozing.
We love that picture of four of you on the same bed! I love how Mau has his tail wrapped around his legs.
What fun fill in responses! We love how you all take over the bed. Looks like your humans are gonna have to find someplace else to sleep. 😉
I LOVE this photo of so many of you on the bed. I used to get photos like that, but most of those kitties are at The Bridge and I never get many on the bed anymore. Thank you both for participating, great answers. Beautiful crocuses. I just saw a male cardinal at the feeder today, they are gorgeous. Have a nice weekend! XO
We enjoyed today’s fill ins and especially the accompanying photos! We hope you all have a great weeknd!
Until I had cats, I never realized that the human’s bed was meant completely for them! Great pictures and we like that cat tree. Nice answers. We like spring; we just wish it would hurry up and get here. Now they’re saying we might get snow on Monday. :O Terrible. I hope it changes for the warmer before then!
Love all your kitties and you have a great bunch of answers too
BURD WATCHIN !!!!!!! ????? dood…..we knead ta haza talk ~~~~~~
🙂 😉 ♥♥
Excellent demonstration of cat napping!
You are all so nice to leave room for your humans on the bed.
hilarious photo….that’s why we have one cat at a time!
Love all your answers and the kitties are adorable. I so remember the bed thing. Never had any room because they took it all.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect day. My best to your peeps. ♥
Allie says her husband looks sooooo adorable snoozing! Great Fill-in answers!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie
Such terrific answers and totally wonderful photos too!
Oh you have a pile of comfy Kitties Blue on the big bed…..nice that there’s plenty of room for a group nap! That cat tree looks like mine – I love flying around on it even though the first several months after we got it I totally ignored it….haha. We have no signs of spring here yet other than a few brave forsythia buds. I don’t think any of us trust that Spring is really EVER going to get here!
Love, Teddy
One early Spring, not too long ago, there were many happy violet crocus! How does a cat focus on just one ? Like this one, chomp, crunchy crunchy! Oh yes, very nice, tasty! I do hope now that my Crocus is gone, I hope it is not , Hmm, poisonous to Cats!
You mean there is room for any humans on the bed after you kitties settle in?
