Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #78
1. My favorite part of November is pumpkin pie.
2. Every November, I start to panic if I haven’t finished my Christmas shopping.
3. For me, peace is working in the garden when it is quiet outside (no lawnmowers, leaf blowers, weed whackers, chain saws…). I especially loved it when I could take Fiona with me, as it was one of her favorite things to do. (Hope you don’t mind seeing Fiona again today.)
4. So far, my upcoming holiday plans include spending Thanksgiving with two of Tom’s nephews and their families.
We are joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). You can find the fill-ins for the week each Thursday on both of their blogs.

Blog Blast for Peace
Tomorrow is a special day on the internet, in which Kitties Blue always participate. We will do so again this year by creating an artistic peace globe for our entry in the Caturday Art blog hop. We hope all our friends will participate in Blog Blast for Peace as well.
Petcretary can so relate to most of your Fill in remarks. She will be working on Thanksgiving…and while she has Dec 15th off…she does have to work Dec 23 & 24…hence all plans will be delegated to others, MOL! Actually we will do our celebrating a day late for both holidays. Petcretary can’t imagine what it would be like to crowd ourselves into our Bachelor sons’ apartments…though they *do* know how to cook:)
I do not think they have evfur cooked such a big deal of a meal!!
Oopsie…time to cut apron strings and let them learn…
And we love seeing Angel Fiona!

We will never tire of seeing your beautiful Angel Fiona. It’s memories and photos like these that help keep our angels near to us.
We enjoyed all of your fill-ins. Pumpkin pie is a definite favorite around here, too. Yum! And you’ve made me realize that I really need to make some progress on my Christmas shopping. It will be Christmas before we know it!
We just love seeing photos of Fiona. She was beautiful! And we liked your Friday fillins! Especially #2! My Mommy can relate!

I love the pictures of Fiona in the garden! She’s such a gift and pleasure 🙂
Now the mom wants some pumpkin pie…with whipped cream, of course. Wally just wants the whipped cream.
We loved seeing angel Fiona! We like the whipped cream on pumpkin pie!
We enjoyed your answers. My Dad loves pumpkin pie and we always love seeing Angel Fiona.
Wonderful fill-ins this week! Our Mom agrees with just about every one of your answers, especially garden cats and pumpkin pie. Yums!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, I always enjoy your answers. I love seeing Fiona and I am glad you keep her memory alive. I used to have most of my shopping done by now, but now I don’t even have ideas of what to get people this year. It sounds like you will have a nice Thanksgiving with your nephews. Have a nice weekend! XO
I love sitting on the deck with The ‘O’ Cats, listening to the world. Right now, you can hear the leaves falling, and soon it will be snow. Mother Nature is wonderful!
Lovely photos!
We love peace here too but unfortunately never get any. That’s the problem with living in the city.

I love being in the woods with Teddy – I no longer garden to speak of as it just became too much work and my back didn’t appreciate it, but I still love sitting outside or walking through the woods just feeling all that LIFE around me. Teddy loves it too. All that good sniffing to be had! Christmas is NOT that far away – already – time moves so quickly……….. The photo of Fiona helping you garden are sweet….I’m sure she treasured that time with her Mom just as you enjoyed having company out there while you worked! We will be blogging for peace tomorrow too just as we always have.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
We luv seein pics of Fiona.
I love the peace of the North Woods. The silence allows me to hear God all around me. I understand what you mean. We are part of the Peace Bloggers, too. Thank you for being you. ❤
