Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #65
We are back with this week’s Friendly Fill-Ins. Mom completed numbers 1, 2 and 4, and we kitties completed number 3. We think she did a pretty good job this time around, and we totally agree with all her completions. As always, we (Mom and us) used teal italics for our portions of the sentences.
Usually, Mom has long, drawn-out explanations along with her filled-in portions, but they really were not necessary today.
1. Meetings are boring unless they are meetings with friends for lunch.
2. Rules suck but are necessary or our lives, those of others, our society and the world would sink into chaos. It already may be there!
3. The best time to get treats and/or nip is when Chris comes to clean the house. She is not stingy like our parents. As soon as she arrives, we all gather around her.
4. I have learned that if I remain open to new information and ideas, I will never stop learning.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a blog hop hosted each Friday by Ellen (15AndMeowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Each week Ellen selects the first two incomplete sentences and Annie selects the second two. The hop is on Annie’s blog, which you can get to by clicking on the fill-ins badge.
If you haven’t participated previously in this fun hop, give it a try. It is an excellent way to learn a bit more about your blogging friends.
Coming Up
Mom will be here tomorrow with what is sure to be some wild and crazy art for the Caturday Art blog hop.
We also hope to announce the winner of the $80 rescue/shelter donation from Allie and Mau’s Anniversary Comment-a-thon. An alternate winner was selected using Random.org as the original winner did not respond to our e-mails.
Our Sunday Selfies blog hop this week will be dedicated to a dear friend and new angel, Mitalee HoneyBee, from Critters in the Cottage. Please make a special effort to join us and honor this sweet and beautiful angel.
Until then, we remain your faithful friends.
Purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
p.s. Will you please continue too send your purrs and POTP and ask your humans to pray for Allie and Raz’s dad, Bill, who remains hospitalized.
hey, can Chris come clean our house too? We need more nip!
Oh, I agree. Rules are to keep us anchored. A lawless society is a dangerous one. I was born and spent most of my childhood in Chicago. It is not the same city today, sadly. Chicago has become lawless, as are many cities. It is rampant and scary.
We do not need a Chris here. We have Dad, who is far more generous than he should be. But, Mom only allows him to give only good treats.
Learning, yes! Every day I try to learn new things, new information. My Inner Child is relentless in her quest to learn. Just because she can. HUGS!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I forgot about the good kind of meetings with friends for lunch 🙂 Chris sounds like Grammie with the treats. Have a great weekend! XO
Nipheads, MOL!!!
Your answers are great!
Those were great fill in responses. You all sure are enjoying those treats.
Hahahaha. We LOVE the niphead pictures! I completely agree with #4. I always listen to opposing viewpoints – and often shock the other person by agreeing with them. To me, it’s important to listen and adjust my beliefs accordingly. I’ve learned so much by doing this and having an open mind. There are so many people who claim to be right all the time and they stick by that to their own destruction or isolation – they stop growing and forget how to love.
Nice pics and answers!

Awesome fill-ins! Sweet that you have someone who isn’t stingy with the treats. Could you send them to our house?
We enjoyed your answers and we always enjoy the nip!
Now these are fantastic fill-ins! And great job on training Chris so well, Kitties Blue!
YAY for your filling in today………we’ve seen a lot of great filling in for this week’s “project”………they sure come up with some great opportunities for filling in don’t they??? We love your photos today too – Chris is everyone’s dream housecleaner because she’s liberal with the goodies! YAY FOR HER!!!! We did not know Mitalee but my Mom and I agree that she had the most precious little face…..and what a darling Angel she has become. I know all of you who knew her miss her but she’s in good hands as we know with Angel Fiona, Angel Sammy and SO many others taking care of her.
Love, Teddy
You sure seem to know the right person to go to to get your treats. Our mommy is such a softie, all I have to do is stand by the treat drawer and dance a little.
