Thoroughly Poetic and Thankful Thursday

Today I am submitting my first ever poem to Angel Sammy’s Thoroughly Poetic Thursday. I think it is pretty good for my first attempt, and I really hope you like it. The prompt letter this week is “J.”

A Kitty’s Joy

Joy is having a new toy
to slobber on and enjoy.
Joy is having a warm lap
in which to curl up and nap.
Joy is having lots of treats
and kissies for my kitty feets.
Joy is having a happy family
to adopt a cat who is lonely.
Joy is love and caring,
gratitude and sharing.
Joy’s what I found with Kitties Blue,
and joy is what I share with you.
