Sunday Selfies: Week # 172
We were totally looking forward to having Mom and Dad home from Atlanta. They left us on Tuesday to spend Thanksgiving with family. Of course, we were in good hands. Chris spoiled us with nip and treats and even wished us a Happy Thanksgiving on Thursday. Mom checked in often through the PetCube cam, talked to and played red dot with us. Guess it could have been worse…
AND NOW IT IS!
Check out this “selfie.”
Moments after entering the house, Dad found a note from Chris about a stray kitten she’d been feeding the last couple of days. She had set it up in a box with warm blankets on the deck of the vacant house next door. Before we could blink or meyowl our protests, the kitten was set up in our living room with all the comforts of home.
The kitten is a totally human-socialized, grey tabby Manx. Mom thinks it is a boy, but didn’t want to be too intrusive. After all, they just met.
Kitty has the sniffles and maybe a bit of a weepy eye. Mom has already posted a photo and description on our neighborhood forum. We all have our paws crossed that this little interloper will be claimed. She will post on all the other on-line lost and found pet sites later today.
As you can see, this baby needed help with a selfie. We know all of you are masters of the selfie and can probably manage on your own. So…what are you waiting for? Get that selfie snapped and added to the hop.

Big News Tomorrow
We are now participating in the Sparks blog hop each Monday. This hop was established and is hosted by our friend, Annie, from McGuffy’s Reader. Sparks is an opportunity to post an inspirational quote and/or photo as a pick-me-up for your fellow bloggers. Ours for tomorrow will include some exceptionally great news, so we are inviting everyone to visit. Surprises are so much fun…don’t you think? Well, maybe surprises that don’t include a kitten in the living room.
Anyhoo, until then…
With purrs and paw-pats, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy

I hope you’re able to find the little one’s owners. Luckily, s/he’s safe with you for the time being … or longer 😉
OMC! A gift from the heavens! Poor little kittie. Is Chris sure there’s only one? There’s a site called NextDoor.com where you can post lost and found pets and other stuff. That’s where TW found out where Leonardo lived. Good luck finding his home. When you take him to the vet for the sniffles, you can see if there’s a chip.
Oh a BABY CODY!! We think you should keep him.
What a little cutie pie!!! He’s so lucky he found your home to take care of him 🙂
Oh my, Kitty sure is cute! We hope, with your pawrents help, she finds her way back home!!!

Wow, what a surprise! She or he ended up in the right neighborhood, with kind caring people. I’m always surprised how many cats at PAWS are listed as “strays” and yet they are totally friendly sweet cats. It’s a mystery whether they were lost or left behind.
Thank you for hosting the kitten and the Hop!

That kitty is adorable, how kind of your family to help him. He takes a great selfie, he would fit right in if he doesn’t already have a home 🙂 XO
OMC what a cutie. We hope that little one finds a home but if Chris has been feeding him awhile he may be lost. A home with the Kitties Blue would be purrfect for that sweetie.

What a cutie! Hope you can help that little one find his or her way home! 🙂
Thank goodness that this little one was taken off the street before something could happen to himher. MOL. Don’t worry. Mom and Dad will for sure try and keep the family happy during this little bit of stress so look for treats and cuddles. See this is really a cloud with a gray tabby manx treat and cuddle lining!

Thank goodness that Chris found this precious baby and that you are now taking care of him (or maybe her). Paws crossed you find its home soon. Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang.
Oh what a cutie! A poor little lost Manx……we sure hope wherever the little baby is supposed to be is looking for him or her and that home awaits. Meanwhile, he/she certainly has a safe and warm spot to be with you. Hope it’s not sick but who knows how long it was on its’ own before Chris helped. Good luck finding it’s home – we are sending POTP. We are also glad that your Mom and Dad had a good time away but by now they realize “there’s no place like home” (which is what that little kitty hopefully will feel soon!!!!!).
Hugs, Teddy
