Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #105
I am joining hosts Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs) for the weekly Fill-Ins blog hop. Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) usually hosts with Ellen, but she is taking a blogging break, and Lorianne has stepped up to have the hop on her blog. To join in, click on the badge below.
Kitties Blue declined to help with the fill-ins this week, so I have completed them all myself. My completions are in teal italics.
- Happiness is a decision we make for ourselves. We cannot depend on someone else to make us happy.
- Ten years ago, I‘d never even read a blog.
- It may be a cliche, but laughter really is the best medicine, along with hugs.
- Most people don’t know that I was a scorekeeper for indoor volleyball at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta.
Those answers are true all the way. Just reading this blog (and so many others), makes me happy…well when its not about sad things…
How cool that your Mom was a scorekeeper!! Allie says thank you for the purrs and prayers. She’s in Mom’s lap right now looking for a photo of Mau.
The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from Allie
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I knew you were a scorekeeper at The Olympics, that is so cool. Nice photo too. And I completely agree with all your other answers. Have a nice weekend! XO
We agree that happiness is a choice so we choose it often! Our mommy is a hugger and our daddy is funny so they got that one covered too!
I agree about happiness being a choice. Most un-happiness is manufactured in one’s own head. Seeing what you truly have, being satisfied with what you have (even if you desire more), challenging self-limiting beliefs and not sweating the small stuff are all keys to happiness. I bet being part of the Olympics was an amazing experience!
That must have been fun to be part of the 1996 Olympic Games.t
Wow! We are very impressed with your Olympic credentials!
How fun!!! And there was Dad Tom right by your side!
Thank you for your always fantastic fill-ins! Your #1 could not be more true. I think a lot of people would be happier if they understood that that happiness is something we have to realize and find for ourselves. And I think it is beyond cool that you were a scorekeeper at the Olympics. I’m sure that is a memory you will never forget. Have a fabulous Friday!
A scorekeeper for the Olympics? Wow, I’m impressed. You’re beautiful too.
I love all your answers. Adding the hugs is a nice touch too.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
A good giggle can make all the difference sometimes!
We enjoyed your answers, those were fun!
Those are good fill in answers.
Agree with your fill-ins……especially #1 and #3! We knew you were an Olympics scorekeeper and we know that was a TON OF FUN.
