Caturday Art
A couple of weeks ago, we let Cooper Murphy out on the upper deck. Though under roof, it had a thin layer of snow on it. Cooper had not been in the snow since his rescue as a stray last January 7. We let him out into the snow on that day so he could earn his Let it Snow Cat Scout merit badge.
To achieve the art’s frosty look I selected an effect in the Painnt app entitled, Iced. I think it is a good complement to the snowy-themed photo. I took the brightness down by 40 percent and increased the saturation. Then I added the light aqua border in Picasa followed by the white frost border in piZap and finally another light aqua border from Picasa.

Sunday Selfies Reminder
We know tomorrow is often a busy day for most humans with the Super Bowl, Puppy Bowl and Kitten Bowl all being contested. Bet you can guess which one we’ll be watching. We are expecting snow tomorrow so it will be a good day to sit in front of the tube and veg out. Whatever your plans are, stay safe and warm and don’t forget to hop!

Cooper Murphy, you look just like a little snow leopard! Webster sniffed at some snow once, but he wouldn’t go out in it. 🙂

Teddy is right, the art makes Cooper Murphy look kind of like a snow leopard. He doesn’t seem to be as thrilled with the snow as a snow leopard would be, though. Was he glad to be back in the house later to warm his little toes?
My buddy Cooper looks like a SNOW LEOPARD in that first photo!! WOW……! I’ve been out in the snow but Mom forgot to bring along her camera so I could earn my Snow Badge at Scouts. We are supposed to get snow tomorrow night so maybe there’s hope?!
