Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #103
1. I could really use some extra hours in each day. The kitties and I could play more, and I could get a little more sleep.
2. PAWS of Connecticut is a charity I like to support, which is why Kitties Blue and I have been sponsoring kitties their for the past few years. The current kitty is the handsome, Taylor. This is a new photo. Kevin (meowmeowmans), who volunteers at PAWS with his wife Tracey, took it for me.
Taylor may remind you of a certain grey kitty who was a member of our family. In all honesty, that is what attracted me to him.
Taylor is a healthy, male, adult cat. He arrived at PAWS on April 10, 2010, as a kitten. Taylor continually was overlooked by potential adopters due to his shyness. Taylor is curious cat and interactive with people. He gets along with other nice cats. This handsome gentleman deserves a forever home, but no matter how long it takes for him to get one, Kitties Blue and I will sponsor him. If you are interested in adopting Taylor or providing a long-term foster home, please click here.
3. One time (2011), I broke my leg, and it took 22-weeks to heal.
4. I wish that I had known about my neuromuscular disease when I was young. My parents just let me think I was clumsy and could do better if I just tried harder.
Friendly Fill-Ins is a weekly blog hop hosted each Friday by Annie (McGuffy’s Reader) and Ellen (15 And Meowing). You can find the four sentences needing completion on their blogs each Thursday. The hop is on Annie’s blog. To go their, click on the badge at the right.
Sunday Selfies Early Reminder
This upcoming Sunday is Mau’s wife Allie‘s 16th birthday. In celebration, I’d like to suggest that you make your selfie in the form of a card for Allie. Of course, this is not a requirement to join the hop, but Mau and I know it would make Allie very happy to see all the greetings.
We will be having a comment-a-thon in her honor as well. Allie has selected Friends for Animals Sanctuary in Brevard County, Florida, to receive the donation. Allie and Raz’s little sister, Noelle, is a Friends for Animals adoptee. I will be making a $1 donation for each comment here and on the Friends Furever blog.
I also am participating in Feline Friday at Comedy Plus.
We are crossing our paws and hoping Taylor finds a furever home soon! If we didn’t live all the way across the country we’d stop by and say “hi” to him.
Purrs & Head Bonks,
Alberto
We love your fill-ins this week, Mom Janet. Thank you for sharing about our buddy Taylor, and your ongoing sponsorship of him (and so many PAWS kitties before him)! We always make sure to spend time with him and his roommates every time we are at PAWS. We also make sure to remind him often that his sponsoring family loves him lots.
22 weeks for your leg to heal … wow. I broke my wrist, and it took 8 weeks to heal; that seemed super long to me, but it pales in comparison to your 22 weeks!
Hugs and purrs!
Taylor is a handsome guy!
Taylor is a very handsome cat. Even Pop thinks so. TW’s ankle took 4 months to heal and she couldn’t use crutches either. There are never enough hours in the day for TW.
Taylor is very handsome. We need to sponsor a cat at PAWS. Thanks for reminding us. 🙂
PAWS rocks! It’s hard to dig one’s self out from under the fallacies our parents told us. No matter how much we know they’re wrong … we default to what they said. Taylor is SOOO handsome!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you were not correctly diagnosed as a child , that is sad. I am glad you sponsor Taylor, he is so handsome. I am shocked that no one snatched him up yet. I hope you have a great weekend! XO
We love PAWS of CT too!
22 weeks to heal? I have the splint on my hand for one more week, and it’s driving me crazy! Advice to everyone out there, don’t break any bones!!!!!!!!!
Wonderful fill-ins this week! Taylor is so handsome. LOVE his wise soul face. We hope his special someone is out there! We know how hard it is for shy kitties to get noticed in shelters and sometimes, for forever families who are usually expecting an outgoing cat, only to adopt one who is his own cat and perfectly happy to stay to himself. Those are truly exceptional companions, we’ve found, and worthy of so much love.
First, thanks for joining Feline Friday. I’ve linked you already so it’s one less thing you have to do.
Taylor is a handsome kitty. I hope someone adopts him soon. He deserves a forever home.
Love all your answers. Sad on #4. Knowing would have been most helpful.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. Scritches to all the kitties. ♥
Taylor, we all hope that you finally find your furever home real soon. We hope that you bring love to the new family that is going to adopt you. Also Allie Happy 16th Birthday!!! Have a great day.
Taylor sounds like a great cat! I hope he meets his new family soon. 🙂
Love that photo of Taylor! Allie looks pretty too!
Taylor is very regal looking but has that “I could love you forever” kind of face. I hope he gets a forever home SOON. He does look very much like your Angel Fiona. We will be hopping Sunday with a birthday card for Mau’s most beautiful wife sweet Allie.
Hugs, Teddy (and Mom too)
Taylor is so handsome! And he sure looks so wistful about having to wait so long to find his forever home.
