Mom is exhausted! She add Dad served 267 take-out meals yesterday at the local Rescue Mission where 600 sit-down meals were served.
So we agreed to having a Flashback Friday and allow her to repost this Wordless Wednesday photo from This is Not a Partridge, originally posted on December 19, 2012.
This is our angel brofur, MacKenzie, as a kitten. It is Mom’s all-time favorite Christmas photo. It is from 2001. Mac was quite proficient at climbing the Christmas tree when he was little. Little MacKenzie, however, turned into Big Mac and by the following year his Christmas tree climbing had come to an end. He could not haul his large rear end up into the branches. That made our humans quite happy!
Hope you all had a spectacular Christmas and that Santa brought you everything your hearts’ desired. Mom took pity on us, and we finally were allowed to open our Secret Paws gifts on Christmas Eve. Pawsome…simply pawsome! We’ll report about those and our other purresents on Monday.

See? That’s the one thing we miss about not having a tree. CLIMBING. TOO cute!!
Your Mom and Dad are the awesomest! That is great that they volunteered at the Rescue Mission. And your mom is rockin’ those antlers! 🙂
Love that shot of McKenzie in the tree. MOL!
What a great thing to do….feed the homeless or less fortunate. Mom and dad do that on various occasions also. Mom is well acquainted with some so its like old home week when she goes. I love Mac up the tree…what a memory to keep.

It’s so pawsome that your parents do that!!
We LOVE the photo of Mackenzie in the tree. Fortunately, none of us have ever done that.

What an adorable photo of Mackenzie! We can understand why it is your Mom’s favorite, but also why she was happy the next year he did not repeat this stunt. MOL
So wonderful that you spent your holiday helping the homeless humans! Love the photo of MacKenzie. Mom didn’t get us a tree because she was worried that we might try to climb it plus we were still getting settled in to our new home. Maybe next year. Can’t wait to see what you got from your Secret Paws.
MOL! MacKenzie was just like me. I liked climbing in the tree when I was younger. Too bad I’m bigger now and the branches won’t support me. ~Wally
We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas. And good for your peeps in helping out at the Rescue Mission. oxox
Hehehe we love that photo,Hope you had a merry christmas,xx Speedy
Yep, they deserve a break after a wonderful day!
That photo is priceless. Have a fabulous Friday.
Best wishes Molly
My human has always wanted to help feed L.A.’s homeless folks on one of the holidays, but she only found out recently that if you want to do that here, you have to reserve a spot weeks in advance and, if you are a woman, you need an escort to the main one downtown. It’s way more complicated than she realized.
Our Angel-Simba did that, too OMC!!
You have a great picture though, which meowmy doesn’t have…
Merry Christmas…or being Canadian: Happy Boxing Day!
Meowy Cat’s Mess! MacKenzie looks great in the tree–what’s wrong? Thanks for your service as volunteers!
Love the picture, and can’t wait to read about the pressies!
Merry Christmas!! Or Better yet, Happy Boxing Day! Fun!
Hope you had a joyous and Merry Christmas!
