Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #135
As I always do on Fridays, I am joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop. It is hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). This is a fun way to get to know your fellow bloggers a bit better. If you’d like to join in, click on the badge on the left. You can find the sentences to be completed on both blogs on Thursdays.
My fill-ins are in teal italics.
1. I really need to start wrapping gifts so I can get them in the mail.
2. My favorite Christmas (or Hanukkah) decoration is Twinkle’s Tree. Twinkle was one of four sisters from three different litters: Daphne, Thelma and Louise, and Twinkle. (If you are not familiar with these kitties, click here to go to our “The Felines” page.) Twinkle died in 1998 at age four after being struck by a car. I’ve put up a little tree in her memory and honor since then. Here’s a photo from last year with C.J.
3. It’s beginning to look a lot like the addition to the house will never be completed. The snow is still hanging around, and now we are supposed to get rain and flooding.
4. This time of year, I eat my fair share of Dad Tom’s yummy, homemade soup.
Feline Friday
Giulietta is here today in a festive, holiday frame. She’s joining the blog hop at Comedy Plus. To join the hop, click on the badge beneath Giulietta’s photo.
Giulietta does look comfortable, doesn’t she!
Giulietta is a cutie. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry your addition is taking so long. Twinkle’s tree is pretty , I am sorry you lost her so young. XO
What a nice tender way to remember your dear Twinkle.
Giulietta is so beautiful in her special frame:)
Lets hope that your addition will be completed at least before the next Christmas season….sigh…sometimes things just do not cooperate to make difficult projects be speedily done…ask us how we know:)
Every project takes 3 times longer than projected, be it wrapping presents, getting one’s car serviced, or building an addition! Hope the weather guessers are WRONG!
That is a pretty tree in Twinkle’s honour. I wondered why the name Twinkle for your jigsaw puzzles. That is a lovely photo and frame for Giulietta
That is quite pretty sweet Giulietta! Our Dad makes homemade soups too, they sure smell yummy.
How lovely a tree and the memory is dear.
Twinkle tree is very pretty. You have such a lovely home.
Homemade soup. In the winter soup is comfort food.
Giulietta is a beautiful girl and the purrfect addition to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
Twinkle’s tree is beautiful. Mom puts up a tree in our family room that is the Memory Tree. It has survivors from the big fire as well as some of Auntie El’s ornaments.
The Florida Furkids with bazillion smoochies and tons of love to Mau from Allie
Great fill-ins! Love Twinkle’s tree….so sweet. Giulietta looks so pretty in her Christmas framed-photo. Let’s hope that snow and rain STOP long enough for your construction project to make more headway. Once it’s under roof it will go more quickly!!! Happy Friday!
Hugs, Teddy and Mom Pam
