COOPER MURPHY’S VET VISIT AND FILL-INS

Friday Fill-Ins: Week #40

Mom had planned to save the Fill-Ins for tomorrow so she could review some litter. That was before Dad Tom took some absolutely adorable photos of me at the vet today. After she does her fill-ins, I will show you my photos and tell you all about my visit.

Mom’s completions of the fill-ins are in teal italics.

1. My favorite kind of cookie is shortbread/snickerdoodle/ginger. Sorry, I couldn’t select just one.

2. Charlize Theron would play me in a movie about my life. I’ve always wanted to be taller and prettier.

3. Love is indescribable. It is something different for each person.

4. For Valentine’s Day, I don’t kiss and tell.

Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each week by Ellen from 15 And Meowing and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). This is a blog hop, and you can enter on Annie’s blog by clicking on the badge.

Okay, now it is my turn.

I returned to the vet today to get my second vaccinations and my microchip. I had vocal practice all the way there. That was lots and lots of fun.

But, once again, I was an excellent patient as evidenced by my photos.

Cooper Murphy has 2nd vet visit.

That’s Dr. Neel with me in the center photo. She was getting ready to listen to my heart. She even let me touch the chestpiece on her stethoscope with my paw. I purred through my entire exam, which I passed with an A+. I maybe gained a tad too much weight, but I didn’t get in trouble…yet. I weighed 12.1 pounds a month ago and 13.5 pounds today.

I was a bit more quiet on the trip home, but I still had plenty to say. I have become quite a talker letting the parental units know when I want to go out on the catio and then come in again. Sometimes, I am not allowed out. I’m told it’s because it is dark outside. I have no idea why that should matter. I chirp and chatter and plead but to no avail. MOUSES!

Kitties Blue had a package waiting when I got home. It had two new toys in it for us to test and review. (Wow, I sure picked the right family to adopt.) I spent a good part of the afternoon playing, while Lisbeth, Astrid and Giulietta watched me. I don’t know why they didn’t want to play. Mom’s hoping some additional playtime will keep me from getting tubby. I’m just looking forward to having lots of fun when stuck inside.

I was scheduled to be back tomorrow for part two of my hand-colored Caturday Art. Unfortunately, Mom hasn’t finished coloring my picture, so you’ll have to wait another week to see the finished product.

Until I see you again…stay comfy!

Purrs and paw-pats, Cooper Murphy
