Friendly Fill-Ins: Week #161
On Fridays, Kitties Blue and I enjoy joining the Friendly Fill-Ins blog hop. It is hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Lorianne (Four-Legged Furballs). It’s a fun way to learn a bit more about our fellow bloggers.
Each Thursday, on both blogs, you can find the four sentences to be completed. On Friday, post your filled-in sentences and link to the hop on Lorianne’s blog. To go there, click on the badge at the left.
Cooper Murphy jumped to my rescue to help with fill-ins when I could not come up with a completion for #2.
Our completions are in teal italics.
1. I hope Amazon never goes out of business.
2. Cooper Murphy: So far, the highlight of my year has been getting to know Tyebe from The Canadian Cats.
3. Construction takes up too much time.
4. If I didn’t have to sleep, I would spend that extra time working in the garden, but since sleeping normally takes place at night, I would most likely spend the time reading. (I actually haven’t slept well in months due to the stress of construction and worry that Sawyer will have a seizure. I have not used that time for gardening but have managed to get in a bit more reading.)
Feline Fridays
At least one of the Kitties Blue likes to join this blog hop each Friday at Comedy Plus.
Astrid was sitting on my lap a couple of days ago, and I tried to get her to take a selfie for Sunday, but she wouldn’t sit still. So I snapped a couple of blurry photos of her. This is the best of those.
Regardless of the photo quality, I find her to be totally adorable.

We do like the convenience of the Amazon.
Astrid is always adorable.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I can understand your worrying about Sawyer having a seizure, that would make it difficult to sleep. I hope Amazon is around for a long time. Have a nice weekend. Astrid is a beauty. XO
That’s a great shot of Astrid. The mom hopes Amazon never goes out of business either. She thinks it’s unlikely.
Oh Cooper Murphy, I’ve so enjoyed getting to know you too. The silly games we played and the laughs we had. These times were so much fun. I hope we see lots more of each other this year.
Astrid….you are beautiful, a total queen with such a regal manner. I want to be like you when I grow up not like mean ole Shoko.
Tyebe
Love all your fill-ins and especially Cooper Murphy’s answer. We love visiting Tyebe too.
Astrid is a pretty girl kitty. l I love that collar.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
I blame time-elasp for making construction go too slow; we are used to watching whole buildings be erected in minutes, but it’s not that way in real time. We are friends with The Canadian Cats, but not like you, Cooper Murphy…hehehe! Astrid is a cute-pie; love her pretty collar.
Those were good answers and such a wonderful Astrid photo!
I agree with #3, it seems to be endless.
Cute photo, Astrid.
Mom totally understands about the sleeping. Every time somecat moves at night she’s afraid it is Raz having a seizure.
Good photo, Astrid!!
The Florida Furkids with smoochies and love to Mau from Allie and paw pats and headbonks to Sawyer from Noelle
Astrid, you are totally adorable! Love your bling collar! I have to agree with mom on Amazon. The biggest shopping in our little mountain town is Walmart 😛 ! We have to drive about two hours to get to “real” stores! The shopping is probably the only thing I miss now about living in the mountains!
Well done Astrid…..Looking AT a camera for the time it takes to snap the shutter is an impossibility when you’re a busy kitty right? Right! I have the same problem. We do hope that once the construction is DONE your Mom can relax some….of course you’ll all always be at the ready to help Sawyer when he has a seizure but hopefully once things quiet down there and routine returns to REAL ROUTINE, even that will improve! We can always hope right Astrid?
Love, Teddy
I have no idea what I’d do without Amazon! I understand about not sleeping well. I never do when I know one of my cats is sick or has something hanging over his/her head. And that’s not quite the same urgency as a cat having a seizure. Sawyer’s a tough cookie to hang in there.
Very cute Astrid!
