Caturday Art
For those of you who did not receive one or more of our holiday cards via snail mail, we are sharing them here for today’s art submission. I do have a few more cards ready to mail, but please feel free to grab a card now.
The first card is the one from Kitties Blue. Astrid is the featured cat. This was actually created from Caturday Art that we posted last year.
This card is the one that Cat Scouts Mauricio and Cooper Murphy sent to their Cat Scout pals.
This final card is Lily Olivia’s Crotchety Cougar card.
We will be entering Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art Blog Hop with our first card. If you’d like to join or find links to art created by other bloggers, click on her badge.
Friendly Fill-Ins
As promised yesterday, we are doing our fill-ins today. Yesterday we reviewed a new product from PetSafe®. If you missed it, the link for that post is at the bottom of this one.
1. I can’t wait to see my friend of more than 30 years, Mary Jane, open my gift to her. Unfortunately I won’t, as she will open her gifts Christmas morning with her family. She is getting several gifts from me, and I know she is going to love all of them. Each was selected with love and care.
2. I have had the same house for 33-plus years.
3. I would not mind if Santa were to bring me a sunny day with the temperature in the 60s. I am going to get that wish for the next couple of days. Christmas Day, however, is predicted to be only 38 degrees.
4. On Christmas Eve, I always would celebrate my grandpa’s birthday with the rest of the family, until I moved away in 1972. The kitties’ dad and I really have no specific Christmas Eve tradition. Sometimes we will go out to dinner at a favorite restaurant. We haven’t planned that for this year.

Sunday Selfies Reminder
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and we suspect most of you will be busy, but we are hoping you’ll still join us for Sunday Selfies. Our selfie will be Christmas-themed. Not only that, but it will be a doozy as well…one you don’t want to miss seeing. So, paste a smile on your face and hop on over tomorrow.
I am still playing catch up! Bill is back on the road. He will have another long weekend for the New Year weekend. I will be unplugged then, too. Routine will come back after the holidays, as always. Until then, enjoy! I hope your holidays and New Year are filled with many blessings. BIG Hugs!
I loved seeing your cards!
Your answers are fun to read.
While I have been at my house about 30 1/2 years, hubby has been here about 34. We got you beat! MOL! But not by much…
We are being dumped upon by snow…for that traditional look of a white Christmas…only I wish it was not, because now we are stuck here and will not risk the almost 30 miles to our Church for Christmas Eve services and not for Dec 25th either…sigh…and it is now about 20…and the next few days will be frigid with bitterly cold winds to add to the effect. Brrr.
Hubby had an uncle whose birthday was on Christmas, and his Mom was Dec 26th…so we tried to always make the 600 mile trip from here to DC…but no longer…Hubby only has his brother there now, and we all agreed that it is better to stay home and stay safe. We get together by way of the telephone!
And you know…Pipo has his Birthday # 13 on Dec 26th!! Whoot!
Those are great cards. Thank you for participating in the Friendly Fill-ins, great answers. I am sure your friend will love any gift you chose for her. XO
Merry Christmas, dearest Janet, to you and all the kitties! I savor our 30 year friendship, the greatest gift of all!
Beautiful cards!
Happy Christmas!

I love all your cards but Astrid’s is particularly stunning!
Wow, 33 years in your house? That’s so cool (and amazing)! We received your card the other day, and we loved it. We hope ours found its way to you, too. 🙂
Hugs!
We got your card and our’s should be arriving before the New Year. MOL! Pop never opens his office gifts until Christmas morning. TW broke that tradition went she and Aunt Pauline started exchanging gifts during their monthly lunch. Aunt Pauline actually started crying when she saw the meerkat. I know your friend will love your gift just as much.
Have a merry, merry, Christmas!

We love your cards! Thanks for the ones you sent to us. 🙂 You’ve lived in the same house for 33 years? That’s pretty amazing.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
All 3 of your cards are fantastic! Thank you for sharing them with us and we loved the one of Astrid we got in the snail mail!
All of your Christmas cards are festive masterpieces, Kitties Blue! We happily received ours in the mail and have it hanging up with the rest of our lovely cards. I really enjoyed your fill-ins, as always. I’ll admit, we woke up to snow on the ground today for the first time this season, and I’m actually quite happy about it. I love having a white Christmas. Wishing you all a festive Caturday!
Love all your cards – they are all adorable which is only natural since all your kitties are so cute and cooperative with the posing!! I’m sure your friend will love the gifts you got for her – that’s a long friendship. I hope all of you have a most special holiday – your “furamily” has grown this past year so there’s a lot more to be happy about and more fun to be had with them too.
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too
I (and Binga) got your cards a couple of days ago!
