Thoroughly Poetic and Thankful Thursday

I can’t imagine my life without cats in it.
Because of my cats, I am a better person.
Their well-being is my responsibility.
I am never lonely with cats as my companions.
They bring me love and laughter and fur…lots and lots of fur.
They talk and play with me during their wakeful hours.
They keep me warm at night, while taking over the bed.
They bring me little gifts—stalked with feline prowess—
To show their love and impress me with their hunting skills.
I find it hard to say, “no” to their every whim and want.
Their pleading eyes and meows tug at my heart.
My cats make me a better conversationalist.
I rarely lack for a funny cat story to share.
Each of my cats is special and unique and loved.
I can’t imagine my life without cats in it.

Lovely poem. And of course, I agree with every word! My life wouldn’t be the same without my cats. And, I’d venture to say, their lives wouldn’t be the same without me!

Okay…my comments do not seem to be taking. I am trying yet again…
Well said. Critters seem to get Life more than humans do. They accept things as they are. They are genuine in feeling and action. They make Life better…and us, too. Love you! HUGS.
