C.J.’s SAD SELFIES IN REMEMBRANCE OF MITALEE

Sunday Selfies: Week #156

I asked to do the Sunday Selfie today to be here as we honor our friend, angel Mitalee. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep my eyes open. I took about eight selfies, and these two were the best I could do. Sorry I look so grumpy! I am not really cranky but just very sad that our sweet friend now has her wings.

In Memory of Mitalee HoneyBee

This sweet, little cat (the Queen of her family) left for the Bridge on July 28. It hurt all our hearts so much; though, we knew her health was failing. By now most of you have probably left your condolences for her family, but if not, all Kitties Blue and our mom hope you will at Critters in the Cottage.

Mitalee, we pray you are running free with all your friends, including our angel, Fiona. We miss you and love you. You will remain in our hearts always.

Hop Along With Us

It’s time to add your selfie to today’s Sunday Selfies blog hop. I am certain all of you will do a better job with your photo than I did with mine. We love making new friends, and so all anipals are welcome regardless of species. The link to add your selfie to the hop is below. If you cannot join us today, that’s okay. The hop remains open through Thursday. And if you need our mom to add your selfie for you, just let us know in the comments. Also, if you’d like to have the hop show up on your selfies post, the code is below. Finally, would you be so kind as to post our badge or link back to The Cat on My Head.

If you missed our post yesterday, you may not know that Mauricio and Cooper Murphy have headed to Yosemite for a week at Cat Scouts Summer Camp. This means Mom will not be able to take us visiting this week as much as we would like. She’ll be helping the boys with their scouting activities. Please do not abandon us during this time. It is only a week after all. Many thanks.

Purrs and paw-pats, Calista Jo

p.s. Please continue to send your prayers, purrs and POTP to Allie and Raz‘s daddy, Bill, who remains hospitalized and on a ventilator.
