Caturday Art
I made this art especially for my beautiful wife Allie (Friends Furever). I am so worried about her, Mom Sharon and Raz (Dad Bill is in a hospital built to withstand a Category 5 hurricane), as Hurricane Irma bears down on Florida. They will be evacuating tomorrow but only moving a few miles from their home. I wish I could be with Allie to hold her paw and comfort her during this very scary time. As I cannot be, I made her this art.
This is our submission in Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty’s Caturday Art blog hop. If you’d like to try your paw at some art and enter the hop, click on Athena’s badge. Even if you don’t create any art, visit Athena’s blog to find links to that of others. It might get your creative juices flowing.
Not only am I praying for the safety of Allie and her family but also for all those in the path of Irma. Ann from Zoolatry made this graphic for all of us to use. Please follow its message.
Sunday Selfies
This is your reminder that tomorrow will be our weekly blog hop. Kitties Blue will be presenting a bit of an unusual selfie tomorrow. We certainly hope you come by and check it out, even if you don’t join our hop.
Until tomorrow…ciao and meow, Mau
She’ll love your art, Mau! We’re praying for everyone in Irma’s path too.
Dear Mr Mau,
Your art is most wonderful!
We are purraying that your wife and her family (and her Dad in the hospital). I
We too have been purraying for the people in the paths of all these hurricanes! Too bad that rain could not fall on the forest fires that are inundating the north west! (we are purraying for the fire victims too).
Beautiful art.
We purr for everyone caught up in the path of Irma.
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
Mau, this is just wonderful. We can see and feel the love you have for Allie. We are so nervous for all in the path of this storm, and are purring and praying super hard.
Such beautiful, calming art. Purrs for everyone in the path of hurricane Irma.
That’s beautiful and we are all worried about our pals too, way too scary for them.
Gorgeous art. She must like purple. That was Gramma’s favorite color.
Beautiful picture! Sending our purrs and prayers too!
That’s really nice, Mau. We bet Allie will love it. And we’re purring for her and her family and everybuddy else in Florida. We want them all to be safe from this hurricane.
That is lovely art for Allie. I have her family and all those in the track of the hurricane in my thoughts.
That’s beautiful, Mau. We’re thinking of all our friends in the path of Irma, and we cross our paws that they all stay safe. Purrs
Thankfully Irma is now a category 3…..and she is veering more to the West. Praying Allie, Raz and their humans are safe, but with the storm moving West, they should be (paws crossed) I have family in Miami and Plantation who did not evacuate. There is a chance that Irma could move back up to a category 4 (they are doubting she will be a 5 again)…….once she leaves Cuba…….and…after she goes West there is a chance she could swing East but that is also doubtful.
That is beautiful Mau. I am praying for Allie’s family and all those in the path of Irma. XO
Mau, this is such a beautiful masterpiece you’ve created for Allie. We are sending lots of purrs and prayers to Allie, Raz, and their mom, as well as their dad. All of those affected by this season of hurricanes are in our thoughts and prayers.
Such beautiful artwork. Like you, we’re praying and purring for everyone in the path of Irma. We, too, have family and friends in Florida and we’re keeping tabs with live streaming. The Governor just said it’s the largest evacuation in history. God be with them.
Oh I think Allie will LOVE this artwork…….and we, like you all, are praying that Irma does not hurt anyone in its’ path……especially Allie’s family. We want everyone to come through this SAFELY………..
Hugs and love, Teddy
We are purring and praying hard for all affected by this monster of a storm.
That is a nice art full of love for your Allie, Mau.
I think it is nice to have comfort like this from loved ones, especially when our worlds are falling apart. Prayers for all affected by nature’s fury. Hugs.
I’m purring lot for Allie and Raz and their humans, and all our other pals in the path of Irma. My human has the TV on CNN nonstop right now, which she NEVER does.
