Friendly Fill-Ins: Week 57
- A prop from a TV show or film I would like to own is ‘Nash Bridges’ 1970 Plymouth Hemi ‘Cuda Convertible.
2. My oldest friendship is difficult to classify. I have a friend, Sandi, who I have known since first grade, but we only communicate occasionally. We will see each other at our upcoming 50th high school reunion. I have a local friend, Mary Jane (who I have mentioned occasionally on the blog). We have been friends for 32 years.
- Whenever I am away from home, I always worry about Kitties Blue; though, they have a great pet sitter.
- The best dessert is apricot pie. I look forward to having some when we are in California at the end of September.
Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each week by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Ellen selects the first two statements to be completed and Annie selects the second two. This is a blog hop. You can enter on Annie’s blog by clicking the badge below.
I have completed all the fill-ins this week. (Kitties Blue declined to help.) My completions are in teal italics.
That’s it for us today. We’ll be back tomorrow with Caturday Art and the following day with Sunday Selfies.
I have to admit that I’ve never tried an apricot. But I did use some in Jubie and Sydney’s batch of food this month! They seem to be enjoying it. Perhaps I’ll have to give an apricot a try…
Sampy sends Astrid a kiss for every apricot in the world, and we all send lots of love!
Apricots??? YUM!!! Our ‘oma’s’ fave, well if it was jam, MOL!
Being as how our names are Peaches & Paprika, we heartily approve of your Apricot Pie selection. the only improvement we’d suggest is a Peach or Peach & Paprika pie. Yes it exists!!! Love, P & P

My Internet is driving me crazy! I know I commented here; in fact, I was first! I am glad I came back. It seems the connection kicks off and on, like a fluttering. So, I am not always aware of it until later. It keeps changing my font in drafts, too. *augh*
Good answers. I would like that apricot pie! Cute picture of you and your friend, too! Thanks for joining us! HUGS!
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That would be an awesome prop to own. I have never had apricot pie, but it sounds good. I understand worrying about leaving the kitties when away. The most we go is one night and even with my Mom here I worry about them. XO
That’s a cool car. We can see you tooling around town in it with all the cats. 😉
Monday’s if you get that car you’d better come pick her up so y’all can go cruising!!
I meant Mom not Monday–darn that autocorrect.
We love the convertible! We want one. We could zip down the sidewalk and get all the woofies on the block barking. MOL
Shoko and Kali
Our mom cannot go away for longer than a month because she starts missing us on week#2.
We enjoyed your answers! Hey, we almost had a picture for you n our blog today!
Great answers! Love that ‘Cuda! Although I was always partial to the 70 Challenger! I envy that you have a pet sitter. It is my mission to find one here. I wish I could find someone who could stay at the house and, of course, they’d have to know how to give insulin injections. Wish me luck cause I want premium but can’t pay premium! Sigh…
I’ve never heard of apricot pie … but I want some!!!! That one might even eclipse apple pie!
whoa…number one wood be hard….we watch a long with de food servizz gurl when her playz dee vee deez ~~~~~ N 4 izza hard one two…coz we due sneek dee sert even tho they say catz canna taste sweetz…. ~~~ 🙂

We’ve never heard of apricot pie but we’d like it if it has whipped cream on top! That’s a cool car! Lovely photo too!
Apricot pie? Wow, that’s a first for me, but it does sound delish! The Hubby and I watched Nash Bridges too.
What fun answers! I bet my dad would love your answer to #1. He is a car guy, whereas I know nothing about them. And I know exactly what you mean with your answer to #3. I have never really been much of a traveler, not only because I am instinctively a homebody, but also because I really just don’t like being away from my furbabies. I have honestly never heard of apricot pie, but I’m thinking I’m going to have to try some now. Happy Friday!
Great photos! That car is envy-worthy indeed……bright yellow – wow. Sweet photo of you with your friend Mary Jane too. We are lucky if we have a handful of really GOOD friends in our lifetime – I’m happy to count you as one of mine.
Hugs, Pam
What part of California are you visiting? I want more details!
