Sparks
I selected today’s Spark from my favorite poet as a child in order to share the following photo and to thank all those bloggers who have become good and cherished friends.
This photo is from dinner Saturday night with fellow bloggers, Kim Koz (It’s A Wonderpurr Life) and Janeson Keeley (Insights from the Outside and @J59). Dad Tom and I enjoyed dinner out at our favorite restaurant with these talented ladies and their husbands. Kim was in town to attend best friend, Janeson’s, wedding. When she discovered that Janeson lived just one street over from us, she contacted me about getting together. It was our first time meeting Janeson and her husband. Kim and I are fellow BlogPaws Conference attendees. And I am a huge fan of her precious Dori (Adorapurr) and her world renowned song, “Purple Underpants.”
Sparks began as a blog hop, created by our friend, Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). Annie currently is on a well-deserved “break” from blogging, so there is no hop. However, many of us continue to post a Spark on Monday, as we totally agree with Annie’s vision: “I believe we are meant to be lights in this world. If we allow our light to shine, we can see where we are going. It is then that we can begin to truly see each other clearly. Together, we can light up the entire world!”
Great spark and cute photo. That must have been a nice time dining with blogging friends. XO
How pawsome you were able to get together with some fellow bloggers. Such fun!
Beautiful faces. Kitties are lucky to be looking at these faces every day!
Love the photo of Cooper Murphy, together with that great quote. And how fun to gather with friends, old and new! 😻
Happy Sparks Day and what a beautiful photo! How cool to find great new friends!
Always terrific fun to meet other like-minded folks!
I recently read the story of the wife of Robert Louis Stevenson…fascinating!
Love the Spark and love that you met up with some blogging buddies and their husbands. I’ve done that too and it’s most fun. Went on a cruise with a bunch of them a few years back. Great memories.
Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the kitties. ♥
That’s a terrific Spark and a wonderful photo of fun times with friends!
Love the photo of three good friends; one new and one long-time friend…..and we also think Robert Louis Stevenson (one of my Mom’s favorites) summed it up quite well about the journey of life with friends. Friends help smooth out the bumps in the road!
Love, Teddy
