FALL-THEMED FRIENDLY FILL-INS

Friendly Fill-Ins: Week 74

Each Friday we participate in Friendly Fill-Ins, hosted by Ellen (15 And Meowing) and Annie (McGuffy’s Reader). They each select two sentences for us to complete. This week focuses on the month of October and Halloween. My completions are in teal italics. They are not very exciting this week. Sorry!

1. October is the perfect time to enjoy outdoor activities. It’s no longer too hot, and the cold weather hasn’t set in yet.

2. Halloween is for kids. I loved it when I was growing up. We didn’t have to fear people would give us dangerous things when we went Trick-or-Treating. I know some adults absolutely love Halloween and really get into decorating. I have a few small decorations I will put out sometimes, and Dad Tom and I do give out candy.

3. Every October, I enjoy the fall colors and cooler weather. Dad Tom took this photo of the Roanoke Valley (Virginia) last fall.

I also enjoy celebrating Tocktober. This is not a favorite holiday for Kitties Blue, as I follow them around all month trying to get photos of their “tocks” for the official celebration on October 20.

4. My experience with the supernatural world is watching “Ghost Adventures” on the Travel Channel.
