For our Caturday Art this past weekend, we challenged you to identify the cat in our abstract submission to Athena and Marie’s Blog Hop. if you missed that post or forgot what the photo looked like, here is a smaller version.
Lots of those who commented didn’t even venture a guess. And most of those who did thought it was Astrid.
Only one person guessed correctly. Before we share the name with you, we will give you a look at the original, unedited photo.
Ta-da…Lily Olivia up close and personal. She thought I’d been on the computer for way too long and demanded some Lily time by getting right up in my face. It made her head look both huge and out of focus. I considered cropping this and using it as a Sunday Selfie, but Lily protested when she saw the blurriness of her calico beauty and the glower on her face. What she refuses to admit is that grumpy is her usual look.
Finally, it’s time to tell you who won the special prize. It is one of Mom’s really good friends: LP, aka Mom Sophie, from Critters in the Cottage. Concatulations!
And what has she won? It is one of the new gifts Mom created on Zazzle. It is not something for the Critters but for Sophie. Hope she likes it! Mom suggests filling it with a chilled, white wine.
